                                           JAI JAGANNATH! Today is Rath Yatra

                  Rath Yatra is celebrated all over India. On this auspicious day, Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra comes out of temple by thousand of devotees and priest and make them sit on their own chariot  named Nandighosha( Lord Jagannath’s chariots), Taladhwaja(Lord Balabhadra), Darpadalna(Goddess Subhadra), all three are gods are beautifully dressed and decorated with flowers gold and silver. They started their journey, all three chariots were pulled one by one  for another temple where they will stay for 8days after that they return to their own temple, the returning is popularly known as “Ulto Rath”.  The first chariot was pulled is of Lord Balabhadra, then Goddess Subhadra and finally Lord Jagannath chariots was pulled where people chants”Jai Jagannath”  in presence of  dhakis and other musical instruments.

                                            “Puri” in Odisha is famous for “Rath Yatra”.
